EP Commodities: Integration and Automation of the Endur System with the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Environment

We helped EP Commodities s.r.o. integrate the Endur system—used for executing trading transactions in commodity purchasing and sales processes—with the new cloud-based SAP ERP system, thereby improving the efficiency of managing the entire trade lifecycle.

The integration of the key trading system Endur was one of the major phases of the enterprise systems modernization project for which EP Commodities selected us as its implementation partner.

To successfully deliver this scope, we leveraged tools available on the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP), specifically SAP Integration Suite and SAP Cloud Integration.

Manual data transfers between systems were redesigned into a highly automated system-to-system integration. As part of the project, we defined rules for automated system decision-making over trading cases and connected integrated trades to the purchasing and sales processes in the cloud-based ERP system.

All of this resulted in significantly improved efficiency in trade processing and greater transparency of document flows between systems.
