ČSOB: When Security and Trust Come First

How can a bank eliminate paper while maintaining security, trust, and legal certainty? ČSOB embarked on a journey of gradual HR process digitalization within a highly regulated environment. This reference project demonstrates how a fully paperless solution was created using the Mibcon Digital Platform, accelerating workflows, reducing errors, and giving ČSOB full control over sensitive documents—from the first signature to secure archiving.

Challenges

In the banking sector, any change in document management comes with strict requirements for security and legal compliance. ČSOB was facing a significant volume of physical HR documents, including salary statements, income confirmations, and complex managerial contracts.
The goal of the project was to replace paper-based documents with digital ones while preserving the highest standards of security, legal validity, and regulatory compliance.

Our Solution

Our proposed solution was the implementation of MDP as a robust digital HR platform. The system was integrated with a trusted archive and a digital signature solution (Sefira/Obelisk). Processes were digitalized gradually—starting with simple confirmations and extending to critical documents.

Resulting Benefits

ČSOB is now fully paperless in its HR agenda. Employees can sign documents biometrically or using a digital certificate from anywhere. The bank has gained complete control over its documents, eliminated errors caused by manual data transcription, and reduced processes that previously took days to just minutes.
