BorsodChem MCHZ: Contract Management System in SAP Using Mibcon Digital Platform

For BorsodChem MCHZ, s.r.o., we developed an application for creating, reviewing, approving, and managing contracts as a replacement for the outdated solution in Lotus Notes.

A More Functional and User-Friendly Contract Management Application Directly Integrated with SAP ERP

BorsodChem MCHZ decided to migrate several applications (records, reports, notifications, etc.) from Lotus Notes (LN) to the SAP Fiori environment, aiming to eliminate the lack of integration between LN databases and the SAP ERP system.

The company chose us as the solution provider and implemented mib:CLM, the Contract Life-Cycle Management application, which is part of our Mibcon Digital Platform.

The delivered solution meets all key requirements the customer set for the new system:

• Centralized contract management across the entire company
• Process coverage for contract registration
• Document management with extended metadata for reporting and search
• Electronic version of documents with contract creation history directly in the system
• Migration of existing contract records into the new system
• Compliance with company rules such as document numbering and access rights

In the next phases of the project, we will cooperate with the customer on digitalizing contract preparation and enabling electronic signing.
