TRANSTRADE: From Isolated Systems to a Modern SAP Cloud ERP

TRANSTRADE, an international distributor of premium food and beverages, decided to modernize its IT landscape and unify the management of its business processes as part of its expansion across Central Europe. By implementing SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Public Edition in cooperation with MIBFORMA, a member of the MIBCON Group, the company established a stable digital platform enabling further growth, process automation, and transparent business management across multiple countries.

Transition to SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Public Edition: A Digital Foundation for International Growth

The original system of Transtrade s.r.o., based on Microsoft Dynamics and several isolated applications, was no longer able to effectively support the growing complexity of the company’s operations, logistics, or the legislative requirements of individual markets. The company therefore decided to implement a modern ERP system that would connect the supply chain, warehouse management, and financial processes into a single integrated environment.

In cooperation with our sister company MIBFORMA, Transtrade carried out a project to implement SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Public Edition, covering the company’s key business areas, including procurement, sales, finance, logistics, and reporting. The solution included the introduction of a managed warehouse with strict control of batches and expiration dates, integration of EDI communication with business partners, and connection of the e-commerce platform to the ERP system. The project was delivered with a strong focus on leveraging standard processes and enabling rapid deployment of a cloud solution without the need for on-premise infrastructure.

The new solution enabled TRANSTRADE to unify business processes across four countries, significantly simplify administration, and increase transparency in business management. Automation of order and warehouse processes reduced error rates and improved inventory control, which is particularly critical in the distribution of fresh goods.

At the same time, the transition to a cloud-based model reduced demands on IT infrastructure and created a technological foundation for the company’s further expansion, the growth of its brand portfolio, and the development of digital services.
